The SOAK*2017 WhatWhereWhen Survey chain letter!

*** Congratulations! You have received the SOAK*2017 WhatWhereWhen Survey chain letter! ***

Forward this chain letter to five of your closest friends, or receive a Memorial Day weekend of bad luck!

Thanks to your input, the deadline for submitting content to the WhatWhereWhen has changed! The new and improved deadline is now Monday, May 1, at midnight! This is well after the second (and final) Main Sale of tickets, so participants can be confident in their ability to attend SOAK before registering their events in the WhatWhereWhen guide!

Service Pony, a burner in Eugene, did not forward this chain letter and as a result worked far too hard adding entries to the WhatWhereWhen for a deadline that was no longer valid! Don’t let this happen to you!

Shade Structure, a SOAKer in Gresham, threw away this letter and missed the new (5/1, May first, May Day!) deadline for the WhatWhereWhen altogether, and as a consequence was the only attendee of a sad, solo kilt walk!

Lascivious B, a burner in Portland, deleted this chain letter and in his rush to meet the wrong deadline, dropped and shattered a bottle of pineapple-infused tequila! Oh, the humanity!

Don’t fall prey to the curse of this chain letter! Share far and wide the news of the new deadline to submit content to the SOAK*2017 WhatWhereWhen!

WhatWhereWhen content submission deadline
Monday, May 1, midnight!
Hooray, hooray, it’s the first of May! WWW submissions are due today!

I can’t fathom how I missed including that. Thanks for catching it! Fixed.

    Greetings, Shangri-lost Village here
    We have 25 event submissions
the form says in small print “If you are holding multiple events with different descriptions, please submit each separately.”
Do I really need to submit all 25 events one at a time with a new form for each submission?

That would be the best way to make sure it gets represented correctly in the WWW. If you make one big mega entry, you’re counting on the editor (that’s me) being able to untangle it and make sure the right pieces end up on the right days, in the right order.
