Radical Inclusion Tickets

The Radical Inclusion Ticket Program aims to create new pathways for underrepresented communities to participate at SOAK. Now in its second year, we have made some changes to the program in an effort to keep delivering on this mission. Below you will find details on eligibility criteria, selection process, and program timeline.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Radical Inclusion ticket, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Belong to an underrepresented community as determined by the SOAK 2024 Census data;
Live in the Pacific Northwest (defined as living in the states of OR, WA, or ID);
Have either (1) never attended SOAK before, OR (2) have attended only 1 time and are willing to commit to volunteering for at least 8 hours for a Department at SOAK 2025; AND
Have not received a volunteer gift ticket OR a ticket through the Subsidized Ticket Program for SOAK 2025.

Selection Process & Important Details
There are a limited number of tickets, so likely not everyone who applies will receive one. All applications are treated as confidential. Selection will be based on random lottery for all individuals who apply and meet the criteria.Those selected for a Radical Inclusion ticket receive only 1 ticket. Tickets are offered on a sliding scale ($10 to $230). Carpooling is strongly encouraged, but a parking pass will be available for purchase. Radical Inclusion tickets are non-transferrable, so if you are selected and you no longer need your ticket(s), please notify radicalinclusion@soakpdx.com.

Application Form Opens: March 29 at 12pm PDT
Deadline to Apply: April 2 at 12pm PDT
Notifications to Applicants: April 3 (all applicants will be notified of lottery outcome, whether or not selected)
Deadline to Purchase Ticket: April 30
