SCAM ALERT !!!
SCAMS ARE ON THE RISE
SOAK recommends using only the official Humanitix (HT) Resale platform for all transfers. Whether it’s a person, CV, or parking pass, insist on using HT.
How it works:
Public or Private: Sellers can list tickets publicly or send you a private HT link after you chat.
Security: You’ll receive a link to pay via the events.humanitix.com domain, receive a fresh confirmation email, and the seller’s old ticket is automatically canceled.
🚨 Red Flag: It is nearly impossible for one person to have more than 1–2 tickets. Anyone claiming to have 4 is a scammer. Period. All orders should have an 8 character order number and can never ever exceed 2 tickets.
🚨 Red Flag: All legitimate tickets will have the exact wording listed publicly (also waitlist opportunities). For DGS tickets, wording is slightly different, but the URL will still be events.humanitix.com domain.
Subsidized and Radical Inclusion Tickets are not eligible for resale or transfer.
Please contact SOAK Box Office for assistance with a refund.
Directed Group Sale Camping Vehicles Passes may only be resold or transferred to another placed theme camp or art project: DGS CV Passes may not be used in open camping.
Option 1: Humanitix Resale (Recommended)
This option is the easiest and most secure. Humanitix has a built-in resale function. If you don’t already have a buyer, it can be made available to the public. If you have a buyer already, it will create a private link. All tickets are sold at face value, including gift tickets (i.e, $0).
Please follow the instructions straight from the source: https://help.humanitix.com/en/articles/9539834-how-to-resell-your-ticket
DGS CV pass transfers must be approved through RV@soakpdx.com and cannot be resold publicly. If you have a buyer lined up, you can email and they will arrange the transfer manually. You will need to exchange the money directly with the buyer as well.
Option 2: Transferring by renaming ticket
This option is for those who are wanting to transfer their ticket to a friend or someone you trust. By using this option the person you are transferring to will not be able to transfer the ticket again themselves. It is the least secure way of buying/selling tickets.
Transfers can be made by editing the name on the ticket by using the “Edit Order” button in the order confirmation email you received.
Remember, the person you transferred the ticket to WILL NOT be able to edit/transfer the ticket themselves. As the original owner, only you have control. There is no cost associated with this function, but any transfer of funds is done privately between the two parties. SOAK is not responsible for mistaken/incorrect/lost ticket transfers. Buyers: to fully ensure you own your ticket when receiving it, insist on option 1
We've been getting a lot of inquiries about ticket transfers, specifically where it is a name change and the new people are not getting the tickets. This is how it's done.
From HUMANITIX confirmation email:
1. Manage order > Update Order
2. Change name + email
3. Click Update
4. On the right click "Email Tickets to Attendees" and select the tickets you are transferring.
The new person on the ticket WILL NOT be able to alter any further.
5. Make sure to send the ticket to the recipient through Humanitix. You do so using the starred option through the Humanitix website and can see where to click in the following images for both desktop and mobile.
