Major Updates for SOAK*2025

During the annual Town Hall, the SOAK team announced many important things for this year. Here are some of the biggest changes for SOAK*2025:

New Gate Hours

In 2024, SOAK used digital ticket scanners for the first time. We used the arrival timestamps to create our new, optimized hours. Gate closes earlier and we will have an S-Lot! Please note that NO vehicles with a trailer can enter after 8 PM on any day.

  • Wed May 21 - 8am-11pm - Staff or Theme Camps only - Work Access Pass Required

  • Thurs May 22 - 8am-11pm - Event is Open

  • Fri May 23 - 10am-6pm

  • Sat May 24 - 10am-6pm

  • Sun May 25 - 8am-3pm - No new entry allowed, Exodus only

Update to SOAK’s Volunteer Credit Hours policy

SOAK’s production team, along with the board of Precipitation Northwest, put in a lot of effort to rework and clarify the volunteer credit hours system for SOAK. This year introduces a tiered structure where one can earn enough credit to have a guaranteed option to buy a ticket for SOAK the next year, and the next tier up will receive a Gift Ticket for the next year. The Credit Hours system helps to clarify why most pre-event volunteer hours are weighted less than volunteer hours during SOAK, with the most important shifts at SOAK being weighted with the highest credit. Camping Vehicle Passes

Formerly known as RV Passes, SOAK is moving to a tiered structure, depending on vehicle size for Camping Vehicles. This DOES NOT apply to Camping Vehicles placed in a Theme Camp.

For 2025, there will be 3 tiers of CV Passes:

  • Small @$95:  20’ and under

  • Medium @$110: 20’ to 32’

  • Large @$125: 32’ and up
